Overview of Atlyss Races

In ATLYSS, selecting a race significantly influences your character's identity. Each race comes with a unique starting skill, which can later be learned by any race through Skill Scrolls. Thus, your choice of race primarily serves aesthetic and roleplay purposes.

  • Unique Feature: Only race that runs on all fours and has special "/sit2" emote

Character Customization in Atlyss

Each race in Atlyss provides unique customization options that align with their physical characteristics:

  • Imp: Body type, fin shapes, demonic features
  • Poon: Ear length, antler options, tail types
  • Kubold: Scale patterns, tail size, horn variations
  • Byrdle: Beak shapes, feather patterns, tail designs
  • Chang: Tail types, fur patterns, ear shapes

Gameplay Mechanics

Starting Skills

  • All racial starting skills can be obtained by other races through Skill Scrolls.
  • Skills must be unlocked using skill points after reaching appropriate levels.
  • A maximum of six skills can be equipped in the hotbar.

Skill Acquisition

  • Purchase Skill Scrolls from NPCs.
  • Obtain scrolls as loot drops.
  • Use the Tome of Unlearning to reset skill points.
